Carole Stanley has been with Talonvest Capital since 2011, helping the commercial real estate mortgage brokerage firm grow from its early days into a national player. As Controller, her role stretches well beyond finance. “Because we’re a small firm, I wear multiple hats,” Stanley noted. One of those responsibilities was leading the search for tools that could modernize Talonvest’s deal execution workflow.
Before adopting Henry.ai, the underwriting team was using PowerPoint to manually assemble deal packages. The process was inconsistent, slow, and reliant on each underwriter’s formatting and design capabilities. “Everyone had their own way of doing things,” Stanley explained. “There were slight differences in each package even though we were using templates.” Talonvest wanted to level up the visual polish and standardization of their materials—and, more importantly, save time.
2025 became a turning point. “This was the year of embracing AI tools,” Stanley said. Alongside Henry.ai, Talonvest rolled out a new CRM and other technologies to increase efficiency.
The team was introduced to Henry.ai by way of a peer recommendation and quickly booked a demo. “We met with Jaden, did a couple of walkthroughs, and were sold pretty quickly,” said Stanley. Talonvest rolled Henry out to support its underwriting and business execution teams, aiming to offload the tedious, time-consuming aspects of deck creation.
The impact was immediate. “The quality of our finished product has improved significantly,” Stanley said. “It looks like a graphic designer did it.” Underwriters who once had to juggle formatting, map generation, and data layouts could now focus on deal fundamentals. “A 22-property portfolio used to take forever to map out,” Stanley noted. “Now it’s done in a fraction of the time. The maps are more accurate, more consistent—it’s just a better presentation.”
The onboarding process also stood out. “The Henry team was paramount in our decision to move forward,” Stanley said. “They made the transition from old school to new age feel seamless and not intimidating.”
Though Talonvest only recently implemented Henry.ai the benefits have been immediately clear. “The time savings for our underwriting team are significant,” Stanley said. “And we now have quality control across all packages—every client gets the same look and feel.”
“We’re excited about where tech is going,” Stanley said. “Our next step is probably bringing someone in who can help us think through business development tools, prospecting automation, and broader digital strategy.”
For Talonvest, Henry.ai has not only modernized the deal packaging process—it’s enabled the firm to grow smarter, faster, and more efficiently. By automating the design and assembly of materials, Henry frees up underwriters to focus on analysis, not formatting. And by raising the baseline quality of every client-facing document, it reinforces the firm’s reputation for professionalism and polish. “We’re scaling differently because of Henry,” Stanley concluded. “And we’re just getting started.”

“The Henry team made the transition from old school to new age feel seamless and not intimidating.”
