Oasis uses Henry.ai to stay lean and move fast

Oasis Investment Sales is a boutique advisory firm founded by Jon Fawley, specializing in self-storage acquisitions and dispositions. Having honed his skills at a large brokerage—with extensive analyst teams and support resources— Fawley set out to build a smaller, more agile business that could nevertheless deliver the same level of professionalism and speed as national competitors.

Challenges

In its early days, Oasis relied on highly manual workflows to produce Broker Opinions of Value (BOVs) and marketing materials. Each BOV required Fawley’s team to locate and compile comparable sales data, import and format high-resolution images, build tables and charts, and assemble documents in Adobe InDesign. “First drafts of each BOV took several hours,” Fawley recalled. “Mistakes would happen, and we often found ourselves working late into the evening just to maintain our brand standards.” Given the hundreds of BOVs the team prepares each year, Fawley estimated the inefficient cycles consumed more than 700 staff hours.

The Henry.ai Solution

Plus, the reduction in hours spent is like saving a full time employee.  Fawley noted that time saved with Henry “equates to saving $40,000–$50,000 each year on staff hours— basically the salary of a full-time analyst devoted to BOV production. And, these are conservative estimates, but they still highlight how dramatic the impact Henry.ai has had on my business.” 

With the operational lift managed by Henry.ai, Oasis can focus on higher-value activities—market analysis, client advisory, and deal execution—rather than document assembly. Looking Ahead

Fawley envisions still greater transformations on the horizon. “I wouldn’t be shocked if Henry automates my job in five to ten years,” he joked.
