SVN Uses Henry.ai as the equivalent of a 10 person team

Garrett Huie, Senior Advisor at SVN, has been with the firm since 2019. “Given my background as an analyst I’ve got a strong skill set for underwriting and packaging deals, and I’m sort of the go-to person for that,” said Huie.

The Challenge

Before adopting Henry.ai, Garrett’s workflow was labor-intensive and fragmented. The team used spreadsheet templates to handle deal calculations and financial modeling, then manually transposed that data and other information into a slide deck to create Broker Opinion of Value (BOV) and Offering Memorandum (OM) packages.

Each phase of assembly required hours of work: compiling market research, sourcing and formatting property photos, aligning sales comps, formatting submarket analysis, and ensuring overall design quality and consistency. Even minor revisions could add additional days of back-and-forth, significantly slowing down time to market.

Trying to work with outsourced production support introduced new problems—primarily time zone delays and coordination complexity—that made scaling even more difficult. Though these teams could be effective, they lacked institutional knowledge to really make it feel like an extension of the SVN team. 

The Solution

SVN adopted Henry.ai to streamline and automate their deal packaging process. Huie quickly saw the value: “Work that once took weeks could now be completed in hours. In just the past two weeks, I’ve single-handedly produced six BOVs and two OMs. That was not possible before Henry.”

The platform eliminated the most time-consuming elements of the process—manual formatting, design clean-up, and document revisions—while maintaining a consistent, professional output. 

“It’s also so easy to use,” noted Huie. “A new intern on my team, with no prior exposure to Henry, is already fully proficient in packaging deals with the tool. The Impact

Henry.ai has fundamentally transformed how Garrett and the team at SVN operate. What once required a small army of analysts can now be done by a single person. Internal workflows are faster, cleaner, and more scalable. Client-facing materials look polished, aligned, and on-brand—every time.

Revisions that once dragged on for days are now largely unnecessary, freeing the team to focus on higher-value work. The need to outsource has been completely eliminated, and SVN is now operating at a pace where they are above annual expectations only midway through the year.
